Chapter 1 The Mysterious Woman of the Cook's

It was summer. The night encompassed the city gradually.

SenWell International Hotel in South City was a distinctive landmark building, which was a transparent glass building, where you can see the clouds from afar. The hotel was located in the central business district in South City. And the people who came to the hotel were celebrities in South City.

On the 13th floor of the hotel building, SenWell's biennial wine tasting took place.

This time, famous vineyards from the UK and Italy were also participating in the event, hoping to showcase the strengths of their respective wineries, and ultimately to secure a partnership with SenWell Hotel. By supplying the top SenWell Hotel with a wide range of expensive wines, they could gain mutual benefits and also implement the promotion of their respective brands.

Sherry Ella sat on a high chair in the lobby, who was wearing a black backless dress and a pair of nude stilettos with a ten-centimeter heel.

She cupped the rim of the glass with her white fingers, wobbling it slightly. The red wine then hit the wall of the glass. Her eyes were gorgeous. She was gazing at the red wine in her hand.

The black backless dress outlined her exquisite slender body; her soft long hair was casually made into a bun in the back of the head. Her face was gorgeous and extremely seductive. It would be hard to find another woman in the entire South City who was as gorgeous and flamboyant as her!

But Sherry didn't know that everyone in the room was watching her from time to time.

Men looked at her possessively like a hungry wolf, while women looked at her with jealousy, envy, and contempt.

Taking a sip of red wine, Sherry lost her appetite.

She took the shiny diamond handbag from the round table, got up, and headed for the bathroom in the gallery of the hotel.

"She is the sluttiest woman in South City. Shameless bitch!"

"Keep it down!"

"Am I wrong? Sherry Ella wants to have an affair with all the rich men in South City. She's a shameless bitch!"

"Well, she has a pretty face. All the men in the world would love to get under her skirt right away when they see her!"

Two women in gorgeous gowns entered the bathroom together, who were angry as they touched up their foundation in the mirror.

Sherry was sitting on the toilet seat in the bathroom stall. It looked like she didn't care about them.

Suddenly, the cellphone in her bag vibrated violently.

Running a thin index finger across the cellphone screen, she raised her thin eyebrows, "Mr. Green, why do you ask me to go to Scenery Garden this late?"

"Miss Ella, I've heard you're interested in that land at Prosperity Plaza. Is that true?"

Sherry's beautiful eyes darkened a bit as the person on the phone said, "Mr. Green, it'll take a few minutes to arrive. I'm on my way!"

"Don't hurry. I'll send someone to pick you up!"

"Mr. Green, thank you. But I have a car!"

The sound of Sherry answering the phone came from the cubicle, and the two women standing by the sink immediately froze.

"She's...in there?"

"Wouldn't what we just said..."

"Move, move, move!" They whispered conversations in their mouths, not daring to speak any louder. They hurriedly pushed open the bathroom door and fled out.

...

A black Bentley sedan was turning quickly around the corner on the wide street of South City, heading toward Flower Avenue ahead.

"Mr. Cook, that looks like Missy's car!" Jim Morrison, sitting in the driver's seat, glanced inadvertently at the open-air parking lot outside the SenWell Hotel.

A white Polo was quietly parked in the parking lot at the moment, which was very inconspicuous.

The only thing that was immediately recognizable and completely inconsistent with the Polo's price was the car's license plate number...QS8888. People in South City with a bit of status would know that this license plate number had once fetched a rare and high price of 2 million yuan in South City.

In the back seat of the Bentley sat two handsome and tall men.

"What Missy? "Armand King raised his handsome eyebrows.

"It's a secret." The indifferent man next to him replied softly as he scanned the white Polo indifferently, "A mysterious woman of the Cook's."

Chapter 2 The Famous Slut in South City

"Woman?" Armand looked even more confused, "It's not the Cook's illegitimate daughter, is it?"

"So, are you interested?" The man turned his handsome face to him.

"This is a matter for you the Cook's. As interested as I am, I'm just an outsider!"

Armand leisurely rested his arms behind his head. As he idly looked out the window, a gorgeous and tall woman just happened to be walking out of the gate of the SenWell Hotel. He raised his eyebrows at the man beside him.

"See? That's South City's famous slut! I heard that your cousin almost killed himself because of her! You've just returned to our country, so stay away from such a woman from now on!"

The man glanced at her slender figure coldly, and then withdrew his gaze.

The Bentley flickered out of the parking lot outside the SenWell Hotel and was driven swiftly to the next street.

Scenery Garden was one of South City's top private clubs, which was located on the north side of town.

It hosted all of South City's most influential people. Those rich people with no fame couldn't go there. The security system was very advanced, and the interior decoration of the club was gorgeous, with all kinds of private high-class clubs.

It was the most extravagant and luxurious club in South City.

The second-floor balcony of Scenery Garden was surrounded by European-style stone pillars and colored lights.

Tonight, a few men, who were sons of those bigwigs in South City, arrived at Scenery Garden.

Simple white sofas and coffee tables were set up. Wool carpets covered the floor, and assorted fruits and snacks and wine were set up at several round tables nearby.

"The Moody's Group seems to have their eye on that land in Prosperity Plaza!" Chris Green stood by the white stone railing, taking a sip of wine from his glass.

Armand sat idly on the couch, with his long legs resting on the coffee table as he fiddled with his cellphone, "The Moody's has been in disgrace for three years and now they're thinking of making a comeback?"

"Allen, how sure are you of that land at Prosperity Plaza?" Chris looked to the man beside him who had been silent.

The slender, handsome Allen Cook stood by the stone rail. His black suit jacket was put casually on the back of the sofa. He was wearing only a white shirt with the sleeves up to his elbows. Even with such a simple outfit, he still looked reserved and kingly.

"I've never been interested in things which too many people are interested in." He gently shook the glass in his hand, smiling gently and taking a sip.

Chris looked at the glass in his hand and smiled.

And his eyes flickered, he saw a car approaching, "Allen, you're not interested in Prosperity Plaza, but someone is!"

Following Chris's gaze, he found a small and inconspicuous white Polo went through the tall and carved iron gate of Scenery Garden. It went straight through the gate into the inner garden, unimpeded.

"It is one of South City's famous sluts, isn't it?"

Someone began to speak first, and it caused those men on the terrace to laugh out loud.

"What happened? Mr. Brown, are you sorry she didn't make you sleep with her?"

"Honestly, if I had the chance, I'd fuck a woman like Sherry Ella!"

"If you look at all the South City, there are plenty of men who want to fuck her. Who are you?"

Several men's quips immediately drew more laughter.

Allen's well-defined face took on a faint hue of harshness in the bright moonlight and shining lights.

He looked down at the small white Polo coldly. The car door was open, a foot in nude high heels appeared on the grass, followed by a gorgeous and seductive woman who stepped out of the car.

The sound of the heels grew closer and Sherry's beautiful figure drew everyone's attention as she appeared on the terrace.

"I didn't expect Miss Ella was so punctual!" Chris took a tall glass from the waiter and walked over to her.

Sherry lifted her hand to take the red wine he handed her. Her glistening lips were curled in a smile, "Mr. Green, what a compliment!"

"Miss Ella, you're welcome! Chris feels honored to have Miss Sherry Ella here tonight!" A man by the couch said it. It didn't sound like anything in particular, but it was unclear.

To outsiders, it sounded as if Sherry and Chris had a real relationship.

Sherry did not take the man's words seriously and she remained an elegant light smile.

It was only when she glimpsed at the cold back standing at the stone railings of the terrace that her smile deepened and she stepped forward to meet him, "Allen, you're here too!"

Sherry's "Allen" startled all the people on the terrace.

Chapter 3 For Whom the Second Son of the Singers Went to the Jail

The Cook family was the first family in South City to be involved in not only politics but also in business. It was omnipotent in all fields.

Old Mr. Cook was once the head of a military region in the South, and his uncles were also prominent figures in politics and business. So Mafias and the police both gave them many conveniences.

And of all the cousins of the Cook's, Allen Cook was seventh in line.

He had been sent abroad by Old Mr. Cook as a child, and no outsider had even had the chance to see him. Even many men present tonight met him for the first time.

And Sherry could even call him "Allen" so affectionately.

"Just got off the plane in the evening." Allen turned and looked languidly directly at her. He laughed softly and his voice was cool and gorgeous.

"I heard from Mr. Green that you have your eye on the land of Prosperity Plaza?"

"Mostly because my dad likes it!" The cool night breeze blew a lock of Sherry's hair that hung down by her ear and she smiled as she gathered the strand behind her ear.

"You guys...know each other?" Chris walked over.

Next Armand on the couch couldn't sit still, so he was extremely unhappy and raised his chin at Sherry, but he looked at Allen Cook.

"When did this happen, and how come I don't know anything about it?"

"Miss Ella had studied at the Hotel Management School in Switzerland and we met once," Allen's explanation was very succinct.

Ignoring Armand's extremely unhappy stare, Sherry raised her hand and clinked glasses with Allen. She smiled lightly and said, "The SenWell Hotel, part of the Cook Group, is known for its exquisite luxury. And Allen, if given the chance, I would also like to be welcomed!"

"You're always welcome at SenWell." A crisp clink of glasses sounded and Allen looked at her sharply, raising his glass of wine for a drink.

Then a game of Truth or Dare was offered, and Sherry didn't say no.

Five or six men and Sherry sat together on a white couch. The coffee table was filled with wine.

Allen was still standing by the stone railings on the terrace, accompanied by Chris, the host of the party.

As a wise man, Chris set the party in Scenery Garden tonight purely to welcome Allen, who had just returned from the foreign country.

Not surprisingly, Sherry did lose three games in a row!

Armand was the first to give her a hard time because he had never been used to this woman's behavior, "I hear the second son of the Singers is in jail because of a woman. Is this woman you?"

Sherry didn't seem to expect him to ask this question. There was an immediate moment of surprise, and then she regained her composure and nodded gently, "Yes, that woman is me."

She was really a dangerous beauty!

Armand glared at her a little angrily.

They would have continued to ask questions about the second son of the Singers, but with only three chances to do so, they had to give up and began to pursue Sherry's personal affairs with gusto.

The questions were also more and more barefaced.

Sherry didn't shy away from the questions, and she answered neatly and straightforwardly.

Finally, Sherry finished answering all the questions. When they still wanted to ask, Sherry smiled lightly and got up from the sofa.

"Allen, Mr. Green!" she grabbed her handbag and walked towards the two men by the terrace, "I have work to do, so I'll leave first!"

"Miss Ella, you've drunk the wine. I'll have my driver send you home!" Chris said and took out his cellphone.

"Don't bother!" Sherry hastily held up her hand in refusal, "I already had my friend waiting outside of Scenery Garden when I came here!"

Her statement made Chris a little miffed, but then he came back to what he looked like as usual.

"As for the land of Prosperity Plaza, I'll figure something out as soon as I can!"

"Mr. Green, then please. I'd better go!" Sherry nodded politely and gently at the two men, turning and walking gracefully towards the terrace stairs.
